Greetings, no lessons last night, so I went to the table to hit a few racks as I usually do just to keep sharp.
The 1st rack was kind of ho hum, made some good ones but also missed some I should have made.
Thought to myself, this isn’t practice, it’s just shooting at shots, as some would say “just banging balls around”
So the next rack I really bared down and played it like I was in a tournament or league and shot each shot as if my team captain was watching my shots and my shape.
I had the dials turned up on my concentration and lo and behold I broke and ran the rack, barely, nearly missed one, but ran out.
So the lesson here is when you’re practicing PRACTICE like you mean it.
